About You
We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our lean, high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our financial planning efforts, oversee reporting and forecasting processes, and play a key role in shaping Turn’s financial strategy. You’ll work directly with the CEO and partner closely with our accounting team to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This is a high-impact position ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to connect financial insights with business strategy.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the development and ongoing management of Turn’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Partner with accounting during the monthly close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, support business initiatives, and guide resource allocation
Analyze financial performance and key trends, delivering strategic insights and recommendations to leadership
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages for internal stakeholders and investors
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations that provide clear, actionable business intelligence
Drive ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic priorities and operational decision-making
Help standardize and scale financial processes as the company grows
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally at a VC-backed startup or technology company
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills; experience with financial modeling and automation tools
Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
Proven track record of owning end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a strong ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Highly organized, analytical, and self-directed with strong attention to detail
Bonus points for experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or SQL

This role can be remote, but the company operates under the Central Time Zone (CST).
